Comparisons: For similar specimen, see Guy Francis Laking, The Armoury of Windsor Castle. London, 1904, No. 189, P1. 20. It is interesting to note that in the Dresden Historical Museum there is a sword with dagger en suite in the pommels of which there is a watch (Haenel, Kosibare Wa//en. Leipzig, 1923, Pl. 59).
